It's time our next installment of Creator's Drop. The weather is starting to heat up I am looking forward to checking out the bangers you're dropping this month 🔥

If you want to participate in Creators Drop, check out some of the guidelines:

Single, EPs and Full-Length albums are welcome
Release must have come out this month
Tell us a little something about the release. Where was it recorded? What is the backstory of the song? Any interesting recording/engineering techniques? Anything to give us a little background!
If the release is an EP or Full-Length, what is a focus-track we should check out?
Only 1 submission per month

One of my monikers is "Glamis". This is a single I released on May 2nd, that is a mix of a dance beat and chillout themes, with a strong stand out piano melody. I incorporated experimental sounds into the mix as well. Not something I would usually make for my Glamis moniker, but out of all my music ventures, it fit the best with Glamis music. Glamis music is trance, experimental, a bit of synthwave. So if anything, this single release is an experiment to see if it resonates with anyone out there. The composition and flow of the song is close to what I would release under my given name, Maria Davis. It was recorded in my home studio in Arizona.

@MariaDavis - Oh cool! your description is very apt, this is a chillout banger. i really like the piano progression/motiff and how it resolves. it makes it feel very playful and i don't get tired of it as it continues to repeat throughout the song. Very nice!

@Mak7teen - Thanks for sharing your latest release with us - I'm feeling it! I checked out "Black Boots (feat. The Wiseman)" and I'm really into your production - heavy on samples and loops with tight bars front-and-center. Reminds me of what was coming out in the 90's. also, being in Oakland, i always appreciate a Black Panthers shoutout ✌️
