Old account connecting to new account

I had to create a new pandora account, and somehow, my new account is being followed by the only follower I had on the old one. And there’s now a playlist that is named my email from my old account with no music in it and I can’t delete it. How did my two accounts get linked??? They are two totally different accounts with different emails.
