To be clear, has the Pandora app been launched prior to tapping your screen? Or when tapping the screen, does the app automatically launch?

Thank you very much for your response. I have performed all of the
troubleshooting steps and the problem persists.

The app is not open when I do the tapping, however, it could be in
"memory". Also it only happens when I tap on my lock screen when it's
pitch black.

Thanks for trying out the troubleshooting steps and I apologize for the continued trouble.

If you're referring to memory, make sure the app is installed to the phone's local memory, rather than on an SD card (installing the Pandora app on an SD card causes performance issues we can't provide support for).

Nonetheless, I'd like to report your issue to our engineering team. Can you send over a bit more info about your device?

The problem just stopped happening - just as mysteriously as it appeared. I have no idea

why either way.

To answer your question - the App was in memory but not open, before my screen went

black while charging. Tapping on the screen did not open the app - it just started playing

while the screen remained black.

The best thing that came from this exchange is.....that you guys care and respond. This

reaffirms my choice to use Pandora. I hope the Sirius XM purchase doesn't change this

or the wonderfulness that is Pandora.
