Android: Headphones connect but don't work

My headphones are connecting but are not working for pandora and I have tried everything and my headphones works for everything else except for pandora

Could you share a few more details about what's happening?

Could you confirm whether you're using bluetooth enabled headphones or earbuds?
What is the make and model?
Can you hear any music when listening to Pandora through the headphones? Or, are you having trouble using the pause / skip bluetooth controls?

Does this only happen when connected with your headphones, or do you have the same experience when listening through your phone or through a connected speaker?
