Android: Unable to skip or skip lags when using iPhone wired headphones

Hello! i recently got a S24 Ultra. I have new iphone headphones (wired) which have the skip/volume button.

The skip works on Youtube, and i am unsure why it is not skipping on pandora. It either refuses to skip a song or take 15 seconds to skip. I work a lot mainly on the computer and i do not have time to pick up my phone, skip a lot of songs at a leisure.

Is there a way to fix this..?

Does this primarily happen with on-demand content like playlists/albums or with stations? I tried to replicate on my end with a pair of wired headphones and wasn't able to.

In the meantime, can you send over some more info about your phone:
