Android: Player randomly opens automatically

The app automatically opens and starts playing at random times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. It has been happening for years and with multiple different phones. At this point, i'm just assuming its intentional.

Does this happen after being connected in the Android Auto or a Bluetooth enabled device?

Can you send over a bit more info about your device?

Pandora version (Go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number):
Have you encountered any error messages? If so, what exactly does it say?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?

i dont know what android auto is, but bluetooth is usually enabled. i cant guarantee that it has been enabled every time that this has happened.

the current phone is an orbic joy, but i've had this issue on every phone i've ever put pandora on.

the current carrier is visible/verizon

android version 12

pandora version 2406.1

no error messages

both wifi and data

the only pattern is that it has happened on every device ive ever used
