I had this issue on my last 3 phones and my wife has the same problem on hers.

To get the volume to go back up, I can switch to spotify, then back to pandora and the volume jumps back up.

I also found that if you hit rewind for the song 4-5 times really fast, the volume will pop back up. Then it goes to half volume level when the next song plays.

This occurs on the phone itself, no bluetooth, android auto or anything

Hi @webstj333

Welcome to community!

Sorry to hear that this is happening. It's really a perplexing experience and I can imagine very frustrating. I don't believe any troubleshooting steps I could offer would help to resolve this immediately. However, I'm happy to pass this along to our engineering team for further investigation.

Could you please provide the following info:

Make and model of your phone:

Android OS version:

Pandora version:

Thank you for your help with these additional details!

Mahalo Tanner,

I believe you are correct. There's no solution for this. Happened with my last 2 phones, my current phone(galaxy fold) , my wifes phone (s22).

No reason to supply phone details. There are a few reddits with all kinds of people complaining about this, with all sorts of phone types. The solution seems to be "switch to spotify"

I happen to like Pandora better than spotify. 😉

I can't imagine that this isn't happening to half of the Pandora employees as we speak? Seemingly, it's a known issue and has been for years

aloha,

-Joe

++

Looks like it's been happening 10 years or so https://www.reddit.com/r/Pandora/comments/3fvoca/volume_goes_up_each_time_a_song_ends_extremely/
