How do you keep your music from pausing when you receive notifications

Do you mean when you receive an app notification with sound, the playback stops and doesn't resume?

Could you let me know the make and model of your Android?

In the meantime, I would confirm that any battery optimization settings for Pandora have been disabled. Depending on the phone you have, these steps can be slightly different. Please try the following steps:

Open your device Settings and then Apps
Scroll to find Pandora or use Search in the upper right hand corner
Select Battery
Next select Unrestricted
