Android: Adjusting volume on phone does not change app volume

How do you adjust the volume in the app?

I adjust the volume on the phone and it still is loud. How do you adjust it in the app,?

You should be able to control the volume for Pandora using the buttons on your phone.

Could you explain what's happening in more detail? The more information you can provide, the better I can help.

When this issue occurs:

Do you turn the volume all the way down using the volume controls on your phone, however the volume on the actual Pandora app remains the same?
Are you listening to a station, album, playlist, or podcast?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data?
- If using Wi-Fi, are you able to recover the listening session by toggling Wi-Fi off?
Are you using a Bluetooth connection?
Is this only an issue with Pandora, or are you experiencing the same issue when using other apps (ex: YouTube)?
