Same with mine. Sounds like an issue with the app itself and doing any troubleshooting doesn't fix it. The app says waiting for connection and try again. The app does this all the time when opening it and 2504.1.1 version.

When you receive the error are you connected to:

Cellular Network
Home WiFi
Work WiFi

Do you connect to a VPN either on your phone or at the network level? Thanks for the help with this additional questions.

It happens on all networks. However, I am talking about on wifi. Yes on VPN, but I know it blocks it so I am talking about not using one and only on wifi.

My secondary device (galaxy s21. I dont have the software versions on me, but it has been auto updating so probably has android 15 or 16)has been having issues for about a month. It does not have cellular service. It gives the "waiting for connection " message or brings up the play screen, but the songs never play. I have good wifi speeds.

My primary device today started giving me similar problems. I tried most of the things. Deleted cache, reinstalled the app. No luck. Then based on this page I disabled wifi. This device has been operating on cell network during this period. When I disabled the wifi it started working. It was not connected to a wifi network.

I spoke too soon. It is not working with the wifi disabled.
