&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Clear data*&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;for Pandora in your phone's settings.
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Press the menu key from the home screen on your device (not your Pandora app).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Apps&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Select&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Pandora&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Clear data&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;from the storage details page (you may have to tap Storage to see that option).&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Lower your audio quality in the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;menu&lt;STRONG&gt;.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;To get to your Settings, open your Pandora app to the station list, tap the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Profile&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;icon, and select the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;gear from the top right corner of your screen.

&lt;P data-aura-rendered-by="33:298;a"&gt;While the steps for all Android versions are different, these battery settings can usually be found in the Settings under "Device Management," "Battery," or "Battery Usage."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-aura-rendered-by="33:298;a"&gt;Take a look for this setting on your device and select&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Optimize battery usage&lt;/STRONG&gt;. Then scroll through your apps until you find Pandora, and make sure that optimization is turned off.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same issue here. I've been a Pandora Premium user for over 16 years and use it daily. Within the last couple of months the app consistently goes "offline" after the first song that's played in my car over android auto. This worked for literal years before what I'm assuming is an update broke it. I've fully reinstalled the app now, same exact issue, audio quality is set to standard. I have to kill the app on my phone and reopen it for it to detect that it's online. Extremely annoying.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
