Android: Unlocking Phone with Voice Commands

I use my phone to play Pandora while riding my motorcycle. I use a Cardo Packtalk Bold Bluetooth headset as the vehicle to get Pandora from my phone to my ears. The Cardo PT Bold allows me to talk to Google. If I command OK Google Play xxxxx on Pandora Google tells me I have to unlock my phone first. You can't unlock the phone Hands Free. Is there a solution?

Are you already playing Pandora when this occurs? Or, launching Pandora at the start of your ride?

Can you also send over a bit more info about your device?
