iOS: Pandora no longer plays in vehicle

I have an apple 14 pro max. I downloaded pandora last year and it worked just fine. After the last update it no longer will play music outside my house. My 2017 chevy doesn't have apple play but I can still hook it up to the power cord and play through the phone until the last update. my wife has a nissan with apple play and it won't play through her car anymore either. I have shut down the phone and restarted I have deleted and then readded the program.I called apple support and they couldn't help me either. This of course happened right after I subscribed to the top level. I am pissed

Pandora played wonderfully for the past year no issues so I thought I have
a lot of driving to do and without a cd player I need something to play
music from my era. Pandora fits that perfectly so I upgraded my
subscription to the highest one and then it stopped working. Wont work in
the nissan won’t play music anyplace other than my house. Once I am away
from my wifi it stops producing sound. Visually it appears to be playing
but there’s no sound. It only plays sound in my house
