CarPlay + iOS 18: Does not automatically transition to now playing screen

Still doesn't automatically transition to the "Now Playing" screen. Also, the little equalizer doesn't show for the station playing in the recents tab.

Yes thank you to the team at Pandora… Updated my Pandora app and it works fine in my 2023 Audi, other than it doesn’t automatically load my screen, it does start playing but I still need to push the Pandora icon… No big deal. Switched channels throughout just to make sure that it would do that and display the correct station and it does with the Album info.

Gave the new app 2411.1 a good testing today and here are the remaining
deficiencies:
- The Pandora app is supposed to connect with the 'Now Playing' app in the
Apple CarPlay. Which will open and load the Pandora app and start playing
music and open the Pandora interface in the main screen. This is not the
case! The music DOES start playing, but the Pandora app does not open and
get placed into the main screen. You either have to tap on the Now Playing
icon, or the Pandora app icon to physically open the app into the screen.
Even when this is done manually, and the app opens into the main screen, it
still does not show what is playing. You have to select the Shuffle Tile
(if using) or whatever channel you are playing to have the app show what is
playing.
- Another item. If you do not select the Now Playing icon or the Pandora
app icon in CarPlay, after about 10 minutes, the music just stops and you
have to reload the Pandora app.
This is using an iPhone 15 with iOS 18.1.1 on a 2022 BMW X1 with version 7
of the BMW OS.
