To better understand what's happening, could you tell me a little more about your experience?

I see that you used the label 'Crashes', are you finding that Pandora is crashing frequently? Does it only happen when you're listening outside of your car, or does it also happen when you're listening inside of your car as well?

How do you listen to Pandora in your car?

Are you connecting your phone to your vehicle through Bluetooth, USB cord, or Android Auto?
What is the make and model of your Android?
What Pandora version are you currently on?

For the audio quality, are you only having trouble with RootlessJames or with other artist as well? Are you listening directly from your phone, or connecting to a speaker?

Well it's connected in a old school method but boy does it rip, I have RootlessJames eq app and Pandora app on my Motorola Stylus G 2025 phone connected to my 07 Camry via auxiliary jack and I know that may sound old school cause everything is wireless or Bluetooth BUT I know that directly plugging your audio directly gives you a stronger sound, anyways when I'm plugged into my car the music speed is going down or up alittle.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing wrong with a good old-fashioned auxiliary cable! 😉 I've similarly like some old school listening time. I find it very grounding.

I just want to make sure I'm understanding your experience correctly. When you mention that the music speed is going down or up a little, do you mean:

• The song actually sounds like it's slowing down or speeding up (almost like the playback rate is changing), or
• The volume seems to get louder and quieter?

Also, does this happen with all content on Pandora, or only with certain stations, artists, or tracks?

You mentioned using the RootlessJames EQ app as well. Are you running that app at the same time as Pandora when this happens? If so, does the behavior continue if you temporarily disable the EQ app and listen with only Pandora playing?
