post Alexa: Music cutting out on Pandora in Other Devices

The same thing keeps happening to us! We stream it on Alexa and the songs cut out and then start playing again but it’s not a pause because when the song resumes it’s ahead of where it cuts out. We have a brand new router and the bandwidth is not the issue. It doesn’t do this on any other streaming service only Pandora. Also a premium customer. Would really like this resolved.

Hi @Klbishop611. I moved your post over to the Other Devices space since this issue sounds specific to your Alexa device and the other space is specific for issues when streaming through our website.

Can you tell me more about your Alexa and about what's happening?

What's the model of your Alexa? Also is it on only one device or are there multiple Alexa devices at the same time with the same issue?

When it resumes does it skips to the next song or just a few seconds after within the same song?

Do you receive an error message?

In the meantime, if you haven't, please try running through the following troubleshooting steps:

Check to see if there are any updates available for your Alexa and Pandora apps. Update both as necessary.

Restart your Alexa device by unplugging the power source and plugging it back in.

Try unlinking and relinking your Pandora account via the Alexa app.

Let me know if this helps.
