Pandora plus but getting commercials

I have had Pandora plus for many years. Yesterday I started getting commercials on Alexa. My subscription is active through Apple on my iPhone. I removed and reinstalled the pandora skill on Alexa but that didn’t help. Why am I paying for a subscription but still getting commercials?
