Airplay: iOS app will not stay connected to B&W Zeppelin

Pandora on my iPhone repeatedly disconnects from my B&W Zeppelin over AirPlay. It will play normally for several songs and then stop at a track transition. When this happens, the audio destination changes from the Zeppelin back to iPhone Speaker. Sometimes selecting the Zeppelin again immediately reverts back to iPhone Speaker.

YouTube Music works reliably over AirPlay to the same Zeppelin. Pandora's native integration on the Zeppelin also works reliably. I have completely deleted/reinstalled Pandora and restarted the iPhone. I also tested with cellular data disabled for Pandora and the problem still occurred. The problem also occurred with Pandora open in the foreground and the iPhone screen on.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble maintaining your AirPlay connection between Pandora and your Zeppelin.

Thanks for providing all those details and for letting us know what you've already tried. That's very helpful. Since you've already worked through the usual troubleshooting steps, I don't think additional troubleshooting would be helpful at this point.

I've gone ahead and passed your experience along to our engineering team for further review. I've included the details you provided about playback stopping during track transitions and the audio destination switching back to the iPhone speaker.
