Error creating station on Amazon TV

I’m getting “Error creating station. Pandora is currently conducting system maintenance, please try again later” when trying to create a station from a song on my fire tv. It has been months now so I don’t believe the message accurately depicts what is happening

Does this only happen on your Fire TV, or have you noticed the same behavior on other devices, such as a web browser or the Pandora mobile app?
What station are you trying to create? If it's a personalized station, please share the artist or song you're using. If it's a genre station, please let me know the name.

In the meantime, let's try some troubleshooting steps on your Fire TV:

From the Fire TV home screen, navigate to Settings (gear icon).
Select Applications > Manage Installed Applications.
Scroll down and select Pandora.
Select Clear Cache first, then try Pandora again.
If you're still having trouble, return to the same menu and select Clear Data. Keep in mind that this will reset the app and sign you out, so you'll need to sign back in.

Please note that these steps may vary slightly depending on your Fire TV model. If the instructions don't match what you see on your device, you can visit Amazon Support for additional guidance specific to your device.

I'd also recommend power cycling your Fire TV by unplugging it from power for at least 5 minutes, then plugging it back in and trying again.
