Best Windows Sound 'sample rate and bit depth' setting to use?

When using the Pandora 'desktop app' with Windows, what is the best/appropriate sample rate and bit depth to use in Windows Sound Settings?

Note that I am not talking about the streaming quality of Pandora.

Thank you for your post! Unfortunately, we missed this one. While I haven't noticed an official sample rate and bit depth provided, I did some digging and found out more details to help you make a decision if you haven't already.

44.1 kHz (sample rate), 16-bit (bit depth) is the one of the most compatible choices. It’s similar to CD quality.
48 kHz (sample rate). 24-bit (bit depth) can be used if you’re working with higher-resolution audio, though it won’t improve the quality of standard streaming music files.

What's the current sample rate and bit depth you're using when listening to Pandora from your Windows machine? 🖥️

I appreciate the response.

In Windows Sound settings, my usb DAC gives me the option of 24 for the bit rate, and then 41000 Hz up to 96000 Hz for the sample rate. I don't use an app that allows me to by-pass Windows Sound settings, so the DAC is going to go by whatever I set it to.

I always use 24 bit and 44100 Hz with Pandora, figuring that it is the best choice. I have tried the other sample rates, but if there is a difference in sound quality (good, or bad), I don't think I have been able to tell.
