MAC Computer: Keyboard Shortcuts

Using a Macbook Air, no error message. I have been able to press > and it has always played before.

Now nothing. Adding screenshot. or trying to. normal pandora screen, arrow does nothing.

Hi there, @maggieh. 👋

Unfortunately, we don't support media keys for the web browser. You would need to use the keyboard shortcuts instead. The media keys (volume, play/pause, skip) on your keyboard can be used to control playback on the Pandora Desktop app.

You can also select Controls at the top of the Mac menu bar, for the Pandora app, to review all Keyboard shortcuts available when the app is in focus.

Here's a quick list:

Play/ Pause: Space
Skip Forward: ⌘→
Skip Backward: ⌘←
Shuffle: ⌘S
Repeat: ⌘G
Thumb Up: ⇧⌘↑
Thumb Down: ⇧⌘↓

Items will be greyed out when playing a source that does not support that command.

If your computer is upgraded to macOS Mojave and you are having trouble using these shortcuts, please use the following steps to make sure the app has access.

Open System Preferences
Go to Security & Privacy.
Click Accessibility.
Confirm the box next to Pandora is checked.

Thank you for responding to my email question. I hope this message makes it
to you. I was stumped for days, and honestly can't pinpoint how it was
resolved, or I would pass on to you. I think - think, not sure - it had to
do with a firefox update I had been ignoring. I tried so many different
ideas, being certain which of them was the right one is not something I can
prove.
I wish you luck resolving. I believe being certain your browser is current
may help.
I have a MacBook Air, so my solution may not be yours in Windows. I was sad
to lose my favorites for awhile. I love Didier Lockwood, on all his
different paths. What do you listen to?
