Tab casting in ChromeOS is broken for month on pandora.com

There is a big sound quality issue.

If you try to cast the pandora tab especially in classical and piano music it it sounds awful.

Can you confirm this?

I tried this with several Chromebooks and Chromeboxes on different casting devices (Chomecast, googleTV, google Nest Hub)

Can you confirm the Chrome version you're using?

Also, does this happen when casting in general or only when casting from the web browser? You mentioned several devices, but wanted to confirm that you are casting from the web to those devices.

It only happens when I cast from the web via browser at pandora.com. On ChromeOS devices, the Android app does not offer a CAST option, so the only way is via the browser.
I have access to different ChromeOS devices because I work in an IT department. It seems to be a general Pandora ChromeOS issue. Switching to guest mode or incognito does not improve it to rule out that it is due to Chrome extensions.

Since this is happening on Chrome, I've moved your posts over to our Desktop board to help keep things organized.

I've gone ahead and passed this along to our engineering team for further review. Unfortunately, I don't have any troubleshooting steps that I believe will be helpful.

It happend only if I cast from ChromeBrowser in ChromeOS .
All other casts e.g. pandora App Android phone to google TV or google home speaker cast have no sound issues.

But it seems the issue has been fixed a bit (Acer Chromebox CXI3)
The sound is not perfect but much better. It is particularly noticeable in solo piano music.

I have to correct myself, it still doesn't sound satisfactory.
I'm still wondering why Pandora Web doesn't have a proper cast function that passes the stream to the cast device, apparently only the Chrome tab sound is streamed.
The sound quality here is really bad at the moment.
I try the tab of the website

www.internetradio-horen.de/us/whisperings-solo-piano-radio

streaming sounds a lot better. Pandora must have a problem here at the moment.
