Have you received any error messages when this happens? What does it say?
Are you using the desktop app?
Or, are you using a web browser? If so, which browser are you using?

I am using the Safari web browser. I get no error messages. Maybe the MacBook goes into a "sleep" mode of some sort, but it doesn't do that when I'm watching a movie. I like to leave Pandora on while I'm doing other things, but I don't like having to mess with the laptop every few minutes just to get Pandora to keep playing.

I would recommend adjusting your sleep mode / energy saver settings on your computer to see it this may be affecting your listening sessions.
