Desktop App: Sound Turns off With Incoming Notifications

I use the Pandora app on my PC. If a windows notification comes in while the Pandora app is open the sound turns off but does not turn back on. The song continues to play with no sound. The only way to fix the issue is to restart the Pandora app. These are not Pandora notifications; I have those turned off. Usually, it's an incoming email notification or something along those lines.

So, in a nutshell:

Sound works, notification comes in and sound is muted for the notice *ding*, sound does not resume but song continues to play. Must restart the app to remedy.

Does anyone know a fix for this issue?

In the meantime, I suggest performing our Desktop App troubleshooting steps to see will help resolve the issue with your playback sound when recieving outside notifications.
