I just found out the other day that Loretta Lynn is still singing at the good Ole` age of 89. She happens to be my moms favorite country music singer. I also found out that Crystal Gail is her youngest sister, she is the youngest of 8 siblings. Miss Loretta Lynn also owns the town that was devastated by last September's flood in Tennessee, her foreman of the ranch she owns was swept away in the flood.

I'm a big fan of Johnny Cash, his songs like "Folsom Prison Blues" really hit different. For more modern stuff, I’d say Luke Combs’ "Beer Never Broke My Heart" is a jam!

@Paigesmith1997 I have to admit I'm a bit ignorant about Country music and I don't listen often, but still there are some that I really enjoy and admire, like Miranda Lambert (currently I can't recall the song) and obviously the queen of this genre, Dolly Parton with Jolene.

I also like Johnny Cash, but it totally skipped my mind @kelly098! I'll leave a link to the songs you mentioned in case someone who's newcomer (like me) to Country music: Folsom Prison Blues and Beer Never Broke My Heart.
