That sounds like the perfect combo; live music, and a great atmosphere. I’ve never been to Asheville but always hear good things about the scene there, @TravD.

The shift to cooler weather has me looking forward to the fall and winter months ahead. 🍁

Downtown Asheville has always been a fun and fascinating place to be. If
you enjoy a college atmosphere, great music, some of the best food you've
ever had, at one point Asheville had the most Micro Breweries per capita
then any US city, if you enjoy craft beer as well as some of the best
Hiking trails around. They even have some fun and interesting shopping in
the downtown area. At least these things were true before it was hit hard
by the hurricane Helene. It's a strong community with a long history of
people coming together to overcome adversity. I'm sure they've bounced back
and are in full Asheville mode. If you ever get the chance you should check
it out just make sure you're with a group, for safety.

Between the music, food, and hiking trails, Asheville sounds like an amazing city to explore, @TravD. I'll definitely add it to my list. I’ve visited Charlotte in the past couple of years and Raleigh many years ago. Hurricane Helene was devastating, but it’s inspiring to see the community’s strength and how they continue to bounce back.
