Do you listen to music to avoid everything?

I do not like too much noise. It stresses me out and it is overwhelming. I just pop in both earbuds and put on some j-pop music to calm down. Who else has this issue?

Sometimes I do that but it is not very often I do it to get away from stress and life problems. I like to get away sometimes when I go biking and a little when I rollerblade.

@GenyaRaspberry Something similar happens to me. While I enjoy background sound, I don't like too much noise; however, I'm also not a huge fan of using of using earphones. When I use headphones, I like to listen brown noises (I even found a Brown Nose station).
