iOS: Buffering and skipping with Podcast

I listen to the same podcast everyday and for the past month when I open Pandora to CONTINUE listening it will immediately start buffering then eventually just skip to the next episode and start playing. I have checked my wifi, cell service, others wifi and it keeps happening. Its so annoying to the point I might have to switch apps because I will have to pay for a separate one to listen to my favorite podcasts. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Also, can you verify whether this happens with other podcasts or just this one? Looking forward to your response.

It’s happening with Small Town Murder and Crime Junkie. I switched to listening to podcasts on Amazon Music for now and will use Pandora for my music
