iOS: Won't play the selected song

I have an issue with pandora where I will search for an artist, find a song they did and select it to play, BUT IT NEVER plays that song. Instead I get what the app decides it want to give me. This has bene happening for years, with untold different tracks and artists. I have seen this happen using the Pandora app on an i-phone, and after getting a Wiim streamer, it is happening there. It is working on my laptop however.

Been happening for years, and I am at a point where it's time to find another platform. It appears this has been going on for a while, but not seeing a fix.

I am a premium pandora family member, so it should be working correctly.

Sorry to hear you're having troubles listening songs on demand.

Could you tell me a bit more about what you're experiencing?
1. Is this only happening when you search a song a try to listen it on demand?
2. Or is it also happening when you try to play a song on a playlist?
3. What song did you listen when you tried to listen Consider me gone by Christian McBride?

3. What song did you listen when you tried to listen Consider me gone by Christian McBride? it went to dexterity by Christian McBride, tried it again and it went to Office (same artist)

Thanks for posting and sorry for any confusion.

I checked your content and play history and I can see that you are playing the station Consider Me Gone (feat. Sting) Radio, that was created based on that same song. I can also see that you have also been able to listen to the song demand a few times before that.

From what I see on your play history and from what you said, it looks like you are accidentally picking the station based on the song instead of the song to play on demand.

Stations are a unique stream of personalized music that is based on a song or artist selected by you, this stream of music adapts with the feedback you give with the thumbs up and thumbs down, however, it is important to consider that, even if the station is based on a specific song, it won't necessarily play that song, but similar songs or songs by the same artist. Which is why you may usually hear similar songs to Consider me Gone or songs by Christian McBride instead of the specific song Consider me Gone by Christian McBride.

To make sure that you play the exact song you want to hear instead of the station you need to make sure that you filter your search by Song:

Also please make sure that, when trying to play the song, you tap on the Play button () instead of the Station button ().

Now, from what I saw on your song history, it looks like you were also trying to play it on a loop, is this correct?

If you'd like, I can give you the steps so our songs replays automatically so you don't have to keep going back to select the song again over and over.

Thanks for the note, but that is not the case on my side. I search by tracks, find the song and click it-

I did it just now, Consider me gone by Christian McBride by tracks, and its playing Youthful Bliss. I took a screenshot but inserting an image in this app is not simple?

One other note, I can search by song but if I click it it creates a station whether I want it or not.

Can you tell me more about the devices where this happen?

What's the make and model?

Are they connected to your Wi-Fi network? Or do you use mobile data?

Are they connected through Bluetooth to any other device?
