This blog from 13 October and the recent HomePod and iOS updates give the impression we can now select Pandora as our primary music service. GREAT! However, it also seems the current app (v2009.2.1 released about a week ago) doesn't yet support the settings described in the blog.

Are we just waiting for the next Pandora app update, or has anyone managed to make this work already? Thanks!

We’re excited to announce that Pandora users will soon be able to enjoy their favorite music and podcasts by using their voice.

This feature isn’t available yet, but we’re working on it. Please stay tuned! 🎶🔊

I would agree the way the article is written it does imply this functionality is immediately available:

Download the latest version of Pandora's mobile app for iOS.
Open the Pandora app on your iOS device.
Select Profile > Settings (gear icon) > “Connect with HomePod” > “Use in Home”

Perhaps you can rewrite the article to reflect this functionality is coming “soon” (and give the required app version)? This would save people like myself time wondering “why” these settings couldn’t be found ; )
