This issue is usually specific to the network you're using to access Pandora, so let's start by rebooting your modem and router.

If you're still having the same problem, then please try the following steps:

Check to see if there are any updates available for your Alexa and Pandora apps. Update both as necessary.
Restart your Alexa device by unplugging the power source and plugging it back in.
Try unlinking and relinking your Pandora account via the Alexa app.

Could you share a bit more about your experience?

Is the message you received voice feedback or notification?
If it's a notification, can could you share a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing?
Also, if you select a station using the app and then Alexa plays something else?
