iOS: Playlist skips then stays paused

When I choose a song from one of my playlists or choose shuffle and then lock my iPhone, the music stops, skips a few songs, and stays paused. Sometimes if even skips all the songs and goes directly to auto play. I have to repeat this process 4-6 times until it stops so I can listen to music normally. Any fixes? Note: It doesn’t happen when I’m using headphones or a Bluetooth speaker, just the phone speaker

Does this issue also occur when you're in offline mode?
