iOS: Pandora mutes when message is received

Anyone have issues with Pandora muting and staying muted until checked when text or email comes in? Very irritating.

Sorry to hear that this is happening during your listening sessions.

You should be able to continue playing your tunes while you do other things, as long as the sound settings don't override the Pandora app (ex. playing a game app with sound).

@Phase42007 The troubleshooting steps linked above are specific for iOS devices.

I do not see any recent device associations with an iPhone on your account.

Are you having trouble with the music pausing after receiving a text message or phone call on an Android device?

Thank you.

No, I have figured out how to stop it from pausing most of the time. My
issue is that for every system action like email, text, or even something
the phone does that I'm not quite sure what it's doing, Pandora mutes for a
second or two. This wouldn't be bad if it was occasional, but sometimes it
happens multiple times meaning much of the song is muted because of system
activity - these are not all text or email.

And there are times, such as during a workout or podcast that I'm focused
on, that I don't even want text notifications.
