Hi @Greg2 thanks for posting to community. I've moved your post to our Collections board to keep things tidy.

I'd recommend starting a new station based on an artist or song from the time period you mentioned above. Then, make sure to thumb-up any song that fits in with the type of station you are trying to create. Don't forget to thumb-down the tracks that do not fit. This will prevent that song from playing again, and Pandora will learn more about what you don't want to hear.

Thumbs are station specific and help Pandora to craft the sound you are trying to achieve. Rating a song with a Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down on one station will not affect any of your other stations.
