post Using thumbs up in "Tune your station" in My Collection

I read the Help page on thumbing (https://help.pandora.com/s/article/Thumbs-1519949305945?language=en_US) and I'm a bit confused about it. So the My Station setting starts out just playing the generic algorithm. If I switch to Discovery and thumb up a few songs there, it says "your station will play tracks that are musically different from the original station seed." Does that mean only within the Discovery tuned station or does it mean when I go back to "My station", the algorithm will now look for more Discovery style songs/artists to throw into the usual mix?

@as Those Thumbs will affect how your station chooses tracks to play in both Discovery Mode, as well as "My Station" in general.

Hope this helps clarify. Thanks for being a part of the community! 🎶
