Podcast: Playback issues

My podcast has recently stopped playing correctly. It will skip to random episodes instead of in order. It will also just not play at all when I press the play button. If i can get it to start playing the next time I try to it will start another episode instead of picking up where I left off.

Can you let me know if this happens on a mobile device or web? If you're on mobile, what is the make and model of your device. If you're on web, which browser are you using?

Can you share the name of the Podcast you're having trouble with?

I am using my iPhone 13 pro and the podcast is Morbid

This is happening to me too, on both Morbid and Crime Junkie. I have an iPhone 12 Mini.

I have been having the same problem. It'll buffer, then start over, skip an episode, or sometimes even 2 episodes. I've been listening to Small Town Murder on my Galaxy 22 Ultra.

@RCC To clarify, is this only an issue with that specific podcast?

Can you please try streaming a different podcast on your device and verify if you have the same experience?

Also, does this happen with only specific episodes, or any episode you try and play?
