Same songs being played back to back

Hello,

I'm having an issue where some songs are being played really frequently, and even back to back. The screens to my devices have been turned off when this has happened, so it's not an accidental hit of the "repeat" button. It's also not a case of a live recording, remix, or alternate version being played - it's the exact same song being repeated

The times I've noticed it, it's been on a station I've created called "It's Electric".

Instance 1) Swamp Thing by Pegboard Nerds. Played once, then again less than five songs later, it was played back to back/twice this time.

Instance 2) STEREO by Tokyo Machine. Played once, two different songs played, and then STEREO played again.

Both times I was using Android devices, but once was with a Samsung tablet, and the other was a Pixel phone. The app appears to be up to date on both devices.

I know I could go in and hit 'I'm tired of this song', but I'm pretty sure that blocks it from playing for days/weeks, and that's not exactly what I want. I just don't want songs to repeat like that without my input.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this, or why it's happening?

If this happens again, can you please make note of:

the date & time the track repeated in the same listening session
the name of the track & artist that repeated
the make & model of the device you were listening on

Happened again, this time when skipping the track, it chose to play the same one again lol

Multiple instances on a different station (Jp). These were a bit more spaced out but still seems odd that the algorithm chose the same song so soon.

All these occurred on 10/21/25, all times are CST.

Device: Google Pixel 8a

1+2 occurred while connected to a vehicle through Android Auto, in case that's relevant.

1) 4:45 PM - Michi Wo Yuke by Ryokuoushoku Shakai - Last played 12 songs ago

2) 5:03 PM - FightSong by Eve - last played 13 songs ago

3) 5:32 PM - Coffee & Marshmallow by Ryokuoushoku Shakai - last played 16 songs ago
