Greetings and welcome to the Pandora for Creators Community! This is a space to learn about AMP tools, connect with other creators and get support.
My name is Chris and I am one of the Moderators and a Lead Support Specialist on the AMP team 🙂
If you are new to Pandora for Creators, please introduce yourself! You can feel free to include:
• A link to your music and/or podcast on Pandora
• An artist that inspires you
• Your favorite AMP tool
I’m happy to kick this off!
Here is a link to my band on Pandora.
David Byrne is an artist who truly inspires me. I was fortunate enough to see him perform a few years ago and marveled at how he was able to reimagine songs I’ve heard a million times to sound fresh & exciting with new live arrangements.
The AMP tool I think is special is Artist Audio Messages. It is such a unique way to connect with your audience that can only be found on Pandora.
Once again, welcome and don’t feel shy!
Hi -- great to be here, and thanks for the invite to introduce ourselves.
I'm a lady fingerstyle guitarist from California, now living in Wales, with 4 CDs. Peaceful music, perfect for chilling out, healing, office work, studying, etc.
My Pandora page -- https://tinyurl.com/5hbdx6pe
Inspirations -- the old Windham Hill artists Alex de Grassi and George Winston; for a few years I lived near Alex and traded him dog-sitting and house-sitting for feedback on my music, which was brilliant!
My favourite AMP tool -- tracking plays (At the current rate, I'll top 1 million Pandora spins early next year -- astonishing!)
I picked tracking as a fav tool as I don't know any of the others. Suggestions welcome, and I look forward to connecting with you all!
Welcome to the Pandora for Creators Community @BillCarpenter ! It's good to see you.
It looks like @Steinwayman has joined as well! Welcome to our new space.
A wholehearted welcome to @toastedweasel! 👋

Welcome John and thank you for sharing your tunes with us! Love the Blues!!
Thanks for setting this up!
Hi,
I'm Steven Cravis, solo pianist and cinematic composer/producer.
I was very influenced by pianist George Winston, the compositional styles of Sting, Andreas Vollenweider and cinematic composers including Bear McCreary, Lorne Balfe, Ramin Djawadi and Hans Zimmer.
My favorite AMP tool is the Feature track tool and I appreciate that we can feature up to 6 songs per year for two months each.
My artist URL is https://www.pandora.com/artist/steven-cravis/ARhbpPm7XpgZtr2
Thanks for sharing this @stevencravis! I also admire Andreas Vollenweider, especially his album "White Winds". I love throwing that one on my record player!
Hi PCC members- I'm indie recording artist Dave Lebental. So happy to be part of your group!
Just a bit about me. I'm a LA based singer-songwriter producing material in the softrock/blues/Americana genres. I love Pandora and hope to get a better understanding of how to get my music out to new listeners. My facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/DLMusic1 and here is my Pandora page. My website is dlmusic.us I have a new single dropping on Friday. I'm very excited about it. I posted a sneak preview for my fan community today. Thanks!
Dave
Hi, it's Mark Rushton of markrushton.com - I publish recordings under about 20 different artist names - mainly ambient, beats, avant-garde, and nature recordings.
I've had music in Pandora since about 2008, was with Next Big Sound starting in 2013, joined AMP in 2014, although I didn't become a very active user of AMP until 2019.
Just got my podcast added to Pandora - the Ambient Rushton Podcast.
An artist that inspires me? Carmen Villain's interview in The Creative Independent a few years back...
Favorite AMP tool? At least two of them: Programs and Featured Tracks.
Great to meet you @dlebental1 and thanks for letting us know about your upcoming release! 🎶
I am digging "I'm Not Too Old" - love that honky tonk piano.
Looking forward to hear the new track 😎
Wow @markrushton - I had no idea you were so prolific! Very cool.
The interview you posted with Carmen Villain is really insightful, honest and relatable. This quote is particularly inspiring:
"What I’ve learned from this whole thing is that it’s important to try to keep the process of making the music fun and interesting so that it gives you something. You have to retain the joy of that part of the process. You can’t control anything that comes afterwards. You basically throw yourself to the hounds and then you have to live with whatever happens. So long as the process was good and interesting and made you grow in some way, then at the end of the day it’s worth it."
I need to check myself and remember to enjoy the process too from time-to-time.
Thanks for sharing that and welcome to our Community! 🙏
I have two projects posted on Pandora. One is a collaboration with a magnificent musician named Churemi. It is here.

The other project is a new collaboration with various musicians here in Mississippi.

I have been influenced by a lot of different music, but I've been a huge Rush fan since 1980. So I guess that wins.
The main AMP feature I have used is just tracking listeners. My listenership is limited, but I enjoy seeing new people from different places pop up every once in a while.
Thanks for sharing this @toastedweasel! Loving the Blue music with One Onion - Churemi really has an amazing voice. 😍
So since you're a big fan of Rush, I going to guess that you're a drummer? 😉
Thank you, Chris. Yes, Churemi is a gifted musician, and it has been an honor to work with her.
I wish I was a drummer, but I am not. I am the songwriter for all of these songs, and I play the guitars and bass on the Vorticity tracks (except the guitar solo at the end of Balsawood Cross, which is a great guitarist named Jordan Shotts).
Welcome @svulcano to the Pandora for Creators Community! It's great to have you here 🙂
Shout out to @OVOSHOWTY for joining our new Community. Feel free to introduce yourself 😎
Ladies and gentlemen, @SherryQuerida has now joined the Pandora for Creators Community. Welcome!
