Greetings and welcome to the Pandora for Creators Community! This is a space to learn about AMP tools, connect with other creators and get support.
My name is Chris and I am one of the Moderators and a Lead Support Specialist on the AMP team 🙂
If you are new to Pandora for Creators, please introduce yourself! You can feel free to include:
• A link to your music and/or podcast on Pandora
• An artist that inspires you
• Your favorite AMP tool
I’m happy to kick this off!
Here is a link to my band on Pandora.
David Byrne is an artist who truly inspires me. I was fortunate enough to see him perform a few years ago and marveled at how he was able to reimagine songs I’ve heard a million times to sound fresh & exciting with new live arrangements.
The AMP tool I think is special is Artist Audio Messages. It is such a unique way to connect with your audience that can only be found on Pandora.
Once again, welcome and don’t feel shy!
Hi Chris, I missed the webinar, but I see there is one next week https://community.pandora.com/t5/Creators-Events/Pandora-For-Creators-Office-Hours-Webinar-July-2024...

Good eye @SkaiEriksson 😅
Yes, you are correct! The webinar is scheduled to happen tomorrow at 11AM Pacific time.
Hopefully you can make it!
My artist name is "Redvoid". My name is John Sexton on BMI. I was a music major @ USF in Tampa, FL studying classical performance, classical composition, electronic music production, and jazz composition. Worked as a pro session player on trombone with major jazz artists like Ray Charles, Doc Severinsen, Eliane Elias, The Mingus Dynasty and Dave Koz performing at venues and events like Suncoast Jazz Festival, Ruth Eckerd Hall, and Tampabay Performing Arts Center, from 1985-1994.
Simultaneously, played in rock bands on keyboards, that made it as far as the Southeastern Music Festival, opening for bands like Marilyn Manson, Kings-X, and Genitorturers.
Started attending raves as soon as they existed in the US which was around the Second Summer of Love in 1988 and attended clubs and parties in that subculture. By 1994 I'd met other Florida based DJs and Producers and joined their ranks producing a series of vinyl releases from 1994-2001 on multiple indie dance labels, and had my own label called Psylon Records during this era. Worked on many collaborations like DefCon6 (with DJ HipE), Beyond & Back (with DJ Mark Foster), Window Seat (with DJ Andy Hughes / AGH), Reality Check and THC (with DJ Davie D, Dig Dug, Brandon Smith and Steve Cook). Remixed DJ Magic Mike's - It's Automatic on the same record as Frankie Bones' remix in 1999 on MAFDDAP Records MRI-001. Got Beyond & Back - "You Only Live Twice" featuring Abigail Fischer on Superstar DJ Keoki's - "Inevitable Alien Nation" mix in 1998. Performed many large events with DefCon6 opening for Rainbow Bridge @ Winter Music Conference (WMC), opening for DJ Swamp in Portland, OR, opening for Sunscreem in Fort Lauderdale, opening for Kimball Collins in Seattle, WA and for Noel Sanger in Tampa @ Pleasuredome.
In the 00s, Producer work was getting thin, so I began DJing night clubs and events in Tampa like Summersound Music Festival, Jacksons, G-Bar, Full Moon Saloon, and Club Underground among many others, putting me on the same flyers as major mainstage DJs like DJ Magic Mike, Laidback Luke and Chus & Ceballos.
Blackhole Studios is a long running consistent theme of my releases, and is currently located in Asheville, NC. My current EP is called "Dreaming in Darkness" and contains multiple flavors of modern techno, dub-techno, peak techno, raw hypnotic techno and melodic techno with other influences like acid and electro showing in the overall mix. I created a "melodic house & techno" station that also showcases music from my current EP alongside the greats of the genre. https://pandora.app.link/QJes59CD7Kb
My creative process involves a Eurorack Modular analogue synthesizer and an Akai MPC One sampler at the heart of the grooves, alongside new and classic analog hardware synths like the Ensoniq ESQm, Roland alpha-Juno-1, Syntechno TeeBee and more. Vocoding shows up in my historic discographies and in the new music as a nod to Detroit based techno pioneers like Juan Atkins, Drexciya & Aux88 as well as the Florida artists like DJ Magic Mike and Dynamix II.
I'm brand new at releasing music via digital distribution, but welcome this new addition to my musical life and I'm very happy to be a part of the Pandora AMP artist program!

Ritchie Hawtin / Plastikman is an artist I've been perpetually influenced by as an artist, DJ, technologist and industry influencer for decades.
So far my favorite AMP Tool is the Station creation tool. It gives me total control fo the station with total metrics feedback. I am looking forward to the insights it provides.

Hello, Everyone! My name is Kameisha Smith and I am currently a new Christian artist on Pandora. Below is the link to my latest song, "Praise You". "Praise You" is referencing the how the angles worship God, day and night, and declaring that I do the same. The artist that inspires me the most is Cece Winans and my hope is to one day be able to create music with her. My favorite AMP tool at the moment is the the streaming update and the feature web courses.

What’s good everyone! My name is Ugly Rob and I’m a rapper. I’m 21 yrs old and my biggest inspirations musically have definitely been Kanye and Juice Wrld, but I get my roots in music from classic rock. If anyone would like to give me a listen I haven’t gotten my pandora account fully setup yet and it’s in the process of claiming so here’s my artist website with all my links!!! Check out my ArtistPage: https://unitedmasters.com/ugly-rob
Welcome @McprinceBS & @UglyRob
@McprinceBS - wow, sounds like you're up to big things!
@UglyRob - Congrats on putting out new music. I love the crossover of Rap and Classic Rock but I came of age during Nü-Metal so I may be a little biased when it comes to rap-rock haha. Our AMP Support team should be following up with you soon so you can get access to your AMP profile. Be on the lookout for that email!
