Greetings and welcome to the Pandora for Creators Community! This is a space to learn about AMP tools, connect with other creators and get support.
My name is Chris and I am one of the Moderators and a Lead Support Specialist on the AMP team 🙂
If you are new to Pandora for Creators, please introduce yourself! You can feel free to include:
• A link to your music and/or podcast on Pandora
• An artist that inspires you
• Your favorite AMP tool
I’m happy to kick this off!
Here is a link to my band on Pandora.
David Byrne is an artist who truly inspires me. I was fortunate enough to see him perform a few years ago and marveled at how he was able to reimagine songs I’ve heard a million times to sound fresh & exciting with new live arrangements.
The AMP tool I think is special is Artist Audio Messages. It is such a unique way to connect with your audience that can only be found on Pandora.
Once again, welcome and don’t feel shy!
Hey Chris, nice SF is amazing, Love Muir beach and hiking to Tennesee Valley -
We might to a gig down in San Luis Obispo. I love the coast around there. I hope your band's gigs go well 🙂 thanks 😉 All the best Tim
Hello! We are Created By SRP Music Group, an independent record label that is very excited to be on this forum! AMP’s style of connecting and networking with fellow artists is awesome.

The electronica of the 2000’s and the 2010’s that warms the soul. Our genres include hip-hop, rap, instrumental hip-hop, neo-soul, electronica, Lo Fi, Jazz and RnB.
Looking forward to networking with the Community.
I liked your song, Swim and I listened to a bunch of others. I liked the cover art too.
Here is my track Sally Gardens. This is a 'solo duet', I hope you like it. https://pandora.app.link/0wf7NZNkyOb
I am studying towards earning a level 11 Certificate through the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society next May. I have two recital pieces I am working through, Pavana by Tarrega, and Sor's Opus 35 No 22.
@OpenRoadFolk - Very cool! I love SLO and have spent much time in that area. I hope you're able to escape snowy Colorado for a moment and enjoy some California sunshine. I think people will really enjoy your music there!
@SRP2020 - Thanks for saying hello and sharing some of your artists with us. I am enjoying Hashim Jalal's lo-fi beats. Its really setting the scene since fall is now here and i'm bundled up. Congrats on starting a label!
@higgins_brian - I appreciate you checking out my music and sharing those kind words. 'Swim' is a real collage, we had a fun time layering all kinds of samples, field recordings and found sounds on it.
I listened to 'Sally Gardens' and it immediately put me at ease. Such peaceful and relaxing music. Very appropriate for this time of the year.
Hi I an known as Mr PM! Check me out.
Hey Chris, thank you so much for the warm welcome! 💕 I really like Tracing outlines and saved your radio station 🙂 Yes, you get it!! Releasing the songs was such a weird feeling. I'm really glad I did it but it felt very strange.... But at least now I've stopped eternally honing the drums (etc) on those songs and have moved on to recording my other songs, which feels exciting.
Thanks @AlmaMay - "Tracing Outlines" is a fun song to play live. It's a real heady one haha.
I can completely relate to endlessly tweaking mixes! "Is the shaker too loud? Oh geez now it's way too low". It's funny how sometimes songs (ie. the structure, chord progression, vocal melodies) can happen so quickly and then everything gets bogged for months (tbh years) fussing over little things in the mix. It definitely is something I have made an effort to be better about.
Looking forward to hearing what you do next ✌️
Hi Chris,
My name is Mark Miller and I am part of a song writing, recording and production team called Freaks of Nature. We have just released a new album on Pandora, along with a previous one as well. You can find the new one under the name Big Green Highway, and the older one under Left Outside. Our genre is kind of country folk with some blues mixed in. We've been inspired by many artists, John Price, Grateful Dead, Jimmy Buffett, Pure Prairie League, Jerry Jeff Walker and many songwriters such as Guy Clark, Mark Knofler Kris Kristofferson to name a few. I haven't checked out the tools yet but anxious to get there, with a goal of having our own station soon. Looking forward to being part of the community.
Mark
@ChrisPandora hahah that is so spot on. I write them so fast and take so long to record them. I'm trying to be a little faster with the current one...
Really enjoying the tunes @freaksofnature! "Crow Rooster Crow" has a fun groove to it and your harmonies harken to an older era of Country music. Nice!
Hi there!!,
My name is Tony Davis, (Listed as Anthony M. Davis). I'm new here and only doing the "Claim Artist" thing today. I guess they'll approve me in a day or so. If someone told me I'd have music distributed a couple years ago, I wouldn't have believed them.
About 2-1/2 years ago, I had my 2nd stroke and nearly died from it. I lost my left side and speech. Then, after retiring from a toxic work environment (that was probably the healthiest thing I could do), I began working on self-care. I began getting function back so I wrote books and went to the gym to get well.
On a whim, I wrote a song to use as a book trailer, and to my surprise, book sales went up. Aside from the positive motivation of doing something like that, I wondered if there was something to it.
Today, with 41 songs, I figure about 1/2 of them are good enough to distribute. The others I might split into stems for possible use for sync tracks later.
Through DistroKid, I have 5 tracks out there (a new one from last week, and another releasing next week).
There are four of them here at: https://www.pandora.com/artist/anthony-m-davis/ARZ3V4rrXJPhq7P
The funny thing is being that I'm so new and not into my AMP account yet, they used photo of "Bob" from one of my tracks, "Bob the Blues Mouse" as my profile image. It's okay. He's a cool guy. 😊
It's hard to say for sure who inspires me. I like good Blues, Rock, Country, Christian and a variety of other genres, and I write and produce the same. Much of my work is what I categorize as "Human Condition" songs. Those are the things that happen to us, and what we do to ourselves, along with how to move forward through those storms.
I guess it makes sense (in an odd way) because during 2 military services, one of them, U.S. Coast Guard, I spent many winters in the Bering Sea in storms. Years later I began a coaching and therapy practice helping people get their lives better, and helping female abuse clients across the country. This practice was in addition to the Toxic place I left.
I've found these kinds of songs are relatable to people.
This is a longer post than I planned. I look forward to interacting with folks here. Hopefully the AMP account will be alive soon.
Best to you,
Tony Davis
Hey guys !
I'm Philippe, one half of The Guitar Twins.
We just released our first album a few weeks ago, it's called "Ten Shades of Guitar" and features 10 guitar tracks with different sounds and atmospheres: some are meant to relax, some are meant to make you dance, some are meant to bring you to a special place or a special memory.
We have a complicated background and we're traveling a lot, so hard to really say where we're really from 😀
We love rock'n'roll, and basically any music which has guitar in it 😅 If I had to mention only 2 guitarists, I'd probably go with David Gilmour and Mark Knopfler. In a different universe, Rodrigo y Gabriela are doing some amazing things.
We're delightedto be part of this great community ! The way Pandora gives a chance and supports under-the-radar/independent artists, with a real human touch, is unmatched amongst streaming platforms, so a big thank you to the Pandora team 🙏
Plus I started reading that thread from the beginning and it led me to a lot of nice music discoveries 😍
Happy New Year everybody and keep making great music ! 🤘🤘
My name is Shane Watson. I'm from the Dallas, Tx, area. I appear on Pandora under a lot of names, but mostly my own name, ShadowHawkX, and NightHawkX. I've been focusing on my metal works (NightHawkX), since it seems to be the most successful out of all my ventures. Here it is: https://www.pandora.com/artist/nighthawkx/AR7qv3k4mft4J5k
I've been inspired by a lot of artists in the 80s and 90s, but recently, I've been inspired by TesseracT, which happens to be my favorite band at the time. I'm still learning the AMP tools. I only joined about a week ago. So, I'm still very unfamiliar with everything.
Just found your music and added it to my playlist. Love it!
Hello, I'm Ryan and I go as the artist "The Cat Dream Maker". I make music for cats to dream to. I love offering cat owners the ability to relax their cats as they go out and explore the world.
I've got 2 records out on Pandora and I'm hoping to get them on Pandora Radio. The Albums are titled, "Purring Into Dreamland", and "Cat door to Wonderland". They are super chill and low fi. They aren't only for cats, even humans dig them.
https://pandora.app.link/giriWvrDZPb is a link to my artist page on Pandora.
An artist that inspires me on a daily basis is Brian Eno, the man is an absolute genius.
My favorite AMP Tool is the Campaign tool, it seems to give the artist a real opportunity to showcase their music.
Thanks, and I hope you dig the music!
