Android: "Playlist is No Longer Available" Error

Hru112

It's June 2023 and STILL no solution to this *issue*. I've reached out to tech support and they were no help. This is the reason why I cancelled my premium. I gave up on Pandora years ago. I rather pay premium for YouTube Music and Spotify.

With is ongoing issue and Pandora wanting to increase the price was enough reason for me to leave and join Spotify.  Which I'm glad I did because I've found songs and artists I couldn't find on Pandora plus different versions of songs I've been looking for. So thanks Pandora for pushing me away and into the grasp of another streaming platform.

Thanks, but you're a little late.
I have unsubscribed from my Pandora Prime membership, because I simply
could not ever clear this bug. Apparently it is happening with everybody
that has Pandora, so I find it impossible for you not to know everything
about it.

Pandora is flawed.
I hope you can pull out of your nose dive before that App service goes
completely under, which would be their own fault for not taking this bug
more seriously.

Regards.

this is the error message that I'm assuming everyone else on here for years has been experiencing.

Hi Alyssa Pandora,

It's been ALMOST a year since you replied to this post. Have you figured out the problem? We've sent you screenshots and all the info for our devices.

Yes, I have. It was a very easy fix. I uninstalled the app, canceled my
Pandora subscription and joined Spotify. Now I can't see the Playlist
unavailable message anymore and I'm back to building Playlist. Thanks for
fixing the issue.

The fact that this has been happening for a number of years now, and the best that Pandora has been able to respond is "Close and reopen" or "uninstall and reinstall" then I'm afraid everyone just has to accept that Pandora finds this completely acceptable and couldn't care less if those affected cancel their subscriptions, which I have already done long ago (I just keep getting notifications in my email from people still replying to this post because IT'S STILL AN ISSUE)

Getting the very same message for a year on Playlist unable to be played. It starting happening to after creating a specific playlist on my Android device and deleting and recreating that playlist in rapid succession. If Support could look through my account and delete the offending playlist, aptly named "Angry Anthem" or some variation of that, I think it may clear my particular issue. It's not in my list of playlists but I suspect some phantom may still reside in the account.

I'm not sure what Pandora Support did, but this issue appears to be fixed for me after spending a year consistently emailing Pandora Support about it. Support never followed up with me or stated they did anything to fix the issue, but I haven't received this error in a little over a month so I can only assume they did something on their end. So if anyone else is still dealing with this error I recommend you all email Pandora support directly and every time they tell you they are working on it and close the ticket, just reply to that email again in about a week to keep reopening the ticket until the error is fixed for you. I'm assuming they can't fix this bug for everyone all at once and that's why so many are still having this issue.

@JSI_NavArch I do not see any station or playlist in your collection named "Angry Anthem."

Can you please send me a screenshot of the error message you are seeing?

AdamPandora,

It is the very same error screenshot provided elsewhere in this thread, hence my adding my voice to the same complaint. I don't recall the exact name of the playlist when I created it, something to the effect of "Angry Anthem" or some variation of that, or perhaps just 'Angry'. I just know it started happening immediately after that playlist was created and deleted (span of about 5 minutes).
