My playlists are unavailable in my collection. And when I hit the thumbs up button gor a song it stops playing a nd says "this Playlist is no longer available " and im on a Samsung s9

Pandora Update 11/18/20:

Our engineering team is aware of this issue and are actively looking into this.

If you are receiving the "Sorry, this playlist is no longer available." error message when streaming Pandora on your Android device, please reply to this thread with:

  • a screenshot of the message you are receiving
  • the name(s) of the playlist(s) this is popping up on

If possible, can you please do me a favor and follow up with some additional information?

I'll need:

  • a screenshot of the error message you are seeing
  • Android version (Settings > About Phone):
  • Pandora version installed on your device:
    • If you can open Pandora, go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number.
    • If you can't open Pandora: from Android Home screen > Android Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Find Pandora
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
  • Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?

It happens on wi-fi and cellular data. I also tried the battery fix from above - it doesn't work for me. App version 2010.1 and carrier is tmobile.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and have been having this issue.

My wife has discovered that she can trigger this error. Every time the phone is moved in a way to cause the screen orientation to rotate, it instantly triggers this error. You can click"okay" on the error message and go back into the station/playlist and start playing again (although it will start a new song of course) and it will play fine until there is another screen orientation change. If you lock the phone screen orientation settings, no errors. Unlock it and move the phone and cause the screen to "rotate" and instant error.

She says, "You're welcome, Pandora.”.   🙂

To clarify, does that happen regardless of what playlist you are attempting to stream? 

If it only happens with certain playlists, please let me know the names of them so that I can pass that along to our engineers.

I have a galaxy note9 and mine just started with the error a couple days ago.  Also it will not allow me to save any new playlist.  I've tried all the troubleshooting as well.  Seems to be worse and now songs are disappearing from my song list.

It sounds like you are running into two separate issues.

Error Message: "Sorry, this playlist is no longer available.":

What is the name of the playlist that error message pops up on?

Can you please send me a screenshot of the error as well?

Songs missing from collection:

To clarify, are songs disappearing from your customized playlists?

Or are songs you've added to your collection now missing when sorting your collection by Songs?

If tracks are disappearing from individual playlists, please let me know the names of each of your playlists where those tracks are now missing.

The error can be forced... "auto rotation" shift can (evidently) cause it.

I turned to portrait and stopped  

Some kinda bug/glitch? Fix it please.

When I like any song on most newer stations I have added it gives this error

On galaxy s20 ultra latest updates

I am getting the same error as well. I'm on a Samsung S10. No matter the individual song or playlist I'm running, I continue to get the same error message.

This happening on my stations, Playlist and even individual songs. Very annoying especially since I pay for it. Been going on for about a week.
