It is late August 2026. I have a Pixel 10 and I last weeken lost capability on 2018 GMC Denali to thumbs up/ thumbs down currently playing tract. The old screen was either full or 3/4 and showed the album cover. Now on my GMC infotainment screen in about a 1/4 screen it show the song/artist and a blueooth icon, nothing else. I tried all sorts of "fixes" I read on line but nothing helps. On my Pixel Pandora page does not show any three dots. Any one have suggestions?
I think I just answered my own question which I did not find on any of the forums. I had tried several "fixes" recommended on many different sites but nothing worked. If I didn't mention in my original post, all the fixes I tried I did via bluetooth. So as a last ditch effort I took a USB-C to USB-A cord and plugged in my android Pixel 10 to the USB-A slot on the console of my 2018 GMC Denali. I opened Pandora on my phone and all of a sudden the Tract Artist Name, Tract Album cover was pictured and now I can thumbs up/thumbs down and skip just like it used to via bluetooth.
The other thing that I did not mention but noticed right away with it wired vs bluetooth was the sound clarity. When things went south this last weekend so did the audio quality. That appears to have come back as well. I have not gone on the road yet but I think this fixed my problem. Cheers!
