CarPlay: Will load but won't play

I bought my 2024 VW Taos on November 30th...the Pandora app synced perfectly for the first two weeks.. this past week.. the app loads but it doesn't play. No settings were changed in the car.... I even deleted and re-installed the app. I see my stations, when I select the screen changes to a big play arrow icon, but when I press.... nada. Could it be the latest ios 18.2 update? Frustrating paying for something that doesn't work.

I've created a new thread for your post since it sounds like you're having a different experience than the previous thread. Based on your description, it sounds like CarPlay will load but the control are unresponsive.

I'm happy to pass this along to our engineering team for further investigation. Could you please share a picture of what you're seeing based on you description above. You can include pictures directly here on community. This is best done on either a web or mobile browser. You won't be able to includes picture through the email notification you may receive.

Hello I have this same problem it sounds exactly like i am experiencing

2. Your iOS version:

Have you had any trouble connecting and playing Pandora with Bluetooth only to your car or other devices?

Hello first I need to tell you I’m old and this technology is beyond me so
please be patient. I have a brand new Mercedes and there is a pandora icon
on the screen. I can hear my music on my phone just fine. I see the arrow
to play on the console but nothing happens

There are a couple of ways the Pandora app, could appear within your Mercedes. It sounds like you may be connecting with Apple CarPlay.

To confirm, can you send me a picture of what you're seeing? You can include a picture directly here on community. Please add the picture through a web or mobile browser, you won't be able to add pictures through email.

Last question, when your phone is connected to your Mercedes, do you use a wire, like USB cord, or do you connect with Bluetooth or a WiFi?
