Hi,
Thank you so much for getting back to me. I tried to uninstall and
reinstall but it is still having the same issues.
Iphone 11 Pro Max
AT&T
IOS 14.6
Pandora Version 2106.1
Cellular Data
It is happening when it's connected to my car (2015 Honda CR-V). It used to
automatically pause the music when I answered the phone. Now the
music keeps playing from the phone and the person on the other end can hear
the music so I have to answer the phone, then try to pause the music as
quickly as possible.
Thank you,
Christina

When listening to Pandora and getting a phone call, Pandora used to automatically pause when i answered the call. The last couple months when i answer a call the music is still playing and i can hear the music and the call and the person on the other end can hear the music too. Is there a solution for this?
mod edit: changed title for clarity

Hey there, @Christinatrego1. ๐
Iโve enabled a trace on your Pandora account to help us better understand whatโs happening.
For this trace to be useful, weโll need you to run through our troubleshooting steps once more: iOS Troubleshooting
*Please note: Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after reinstalling the app. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically. If you have any trouble with your offline stations after reinstalling, please let us know.
++
If the issue persists after uninstalling / reinstalling, I'll need to report this to our engineering team. In order to do that, I'll need the following details:
- Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone X, iPad Air (3rd gen), etc.)
- Carrier:
- iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
- Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)
- Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
- Are you using a Bluetooth device? Or, connected to another device when this happens like your vehicle?
Let me know how the troubleshooting steps go. ๐ง

Hey @Christinatrego1! Thanks for the info.
Since this is happening in your vehicle, I moved you over to our Automotive board.
Just a couple of more questions, when connected to your Honda:
- How are you connected in your vehicle? (Bluetooth / USB)
- Are you using CarPlay, PandoraLink and only Bluetooth?
Thanks!

Thanks for the follow up @Christinatrego1!
I checked the trace I enabled and unfortunately didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I'm going to go ahead and create a ticket and pass this to our engineering for further investigation.
In the meantime, would you mind updating the app to the latest version 2107.1.
How to update:
- Open the App Store application.
- Tap your Apple ID icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to the Pandora app. If an update is available, there will be an Update icon.
If you can take note of the time and date this happens again, we'll have a closer look.
Thank you!

My pandora just did this on a phone call. I wondered if they could hear the music, lol.
