Pandora not playing

Pandora won’t play in my vehicle even though my phone is connected to it. It’ll just force the app to close and not play. What can I do?

I already tried forgetting the devices in both, car and phone, and reconnecting them but still won’t play Pandora

Hi @Naye Thanks for posting to community. Could you provide the following information so I can investigate?

  1. What is the make, model and year of your vehicle?
  2. If you have an aftermarket stereo, what is the make and model of that device?
  3. What is the make and model of your phone? Also, can you tell me the Pandora app version (let me know if you need help finding that)?
  4. How is your smartphone connected to your car? (Bluetooth, USB, Aux)
  5. Is your vehicle equipped with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay?

Hi, it’s a 2016 Honda Odyssey with its original radio that has the Pandora option in it. I have an iPhone 12 max pro. The thing is that my husband has the same iPhone and it plays his just fine.

Hi @Naye - Thanks for getting back to me.

Can you clarify, if the app within your Honda's head unit closes or the app on your phone? Does it display any type of message? Can you take a screenshot or picture of what you're seeing.
