Hi @henduman45! Thanks for posting.

Would you be able to share a picture of what you're seeing when you're connecting to your vehicle?

Based on your description, it sounds like your mobile device is attempting to connect via a Bluetooth connection to you Cadillac. Which would explain the 4 digit pin. I'm not sure of the 7 or 9 digit pin, I haven't seen that before.

Let me know if you have trouble uploading the picture. Thanks!

Hi @cbrosengarten - thanks for posting to community!

Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening?

  1. What is the make, model and year of your vehicle?
  2. If you have an aftermarket stereo, what is the make and model of that device?
  3. What is the make and model of your phone? Also, can you tell me the Pandora app version (let me know if you need help finding that)?
  4. How is your smartphone connected to your car? (Bluetooth, USB, Aux)
  5. Is your vehicle equipped with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay?
  6. Have you experienced this issue only when in the car, or also when listening on your phone outside the car?

Let me know and I'll be happy to follow up.

Use your mobile device only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.

I am having trouble on the initial setup between my android i-phone and my 2016 Cadillac

SRX4. It keeps giving me a pin number but when i enter it in, it rejects it. I have used the 4 digit and the

7 digit one (maybe 9 i cant remember. I have followed my owners manual on the process to a tee.

I tried many times to no avail.  HELP!!

Hi @Bonnie3! Thanks for posting.

Can you tell me a little more about what is happening when you're connecting to Android Auto?

  • Are you not able to connect to Android Auto?
  • Does it connect but no sound?
  • Do you receive an error message? If so what does it say?
  • To find you Pandora version:
    • Open Pandora, go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number.

Thanks!
