Pandora recently launched El Detour in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, a new station that highlights the genre-pushing Latin American artists who are redefining Latin music today.

And now, Spanish-speaking users who enjoy Pandora on Google Home and Nest devices can experience the new station (or any of their favorite Pandora music) as easily as saying “Hey Google, toca El Detour en Pandora” with new Pandora Spanish language support for users of Google Assistant-enabled smart device in the U.S.

And it’s just as easy for Alexa users in the U.S., who can now listen to great Pandora music like Latin hits station El Pulso by simply saying “Alexa, toca El Pulso en Pandora” or any number of other voice commands with Spanish language support on Amazon’s Echo smart speakers, and many other smart devices with Alexa built in.

Here’s how to enable Spanish language support for Pandora on Google Home and Nest and Alexa devices:

Via the Google Home mobile app:

  • Tap Account icon on the bottom right of the screen
  • Under “Google Assistant,” tap “More settings”
  • Tap “Assistant” > “Languages” > “Add a language”
  • Scroll down the list and select “Español (Estados Unidos)”

Via the Alexa mobile app:

  • Tap “Devices” on the bottom right of your screen
  • Tap “Echo & Alexa”
  • Select your Alexa device
  • Tap “Language” and select “Español (Estados Unidos)”
  • Confirm changes
