Hi-
I just feel moved to say how much I love Pandora. I have diverse tastes, with only one or two exceptions I always find something worth a listen. And more importantly, the unique way this platform discovers and suggests music has turned me on to a lot of old and new material that is related to what I already love. I'm into jazz, fusion, symphonic and prog rock, chillstep, EDM, hiphop, classic metal and rock, progressive metal,... I've discovered a lot of cool French and German pop. All sorts of synthpop. It's all here, with the awesome algorithm to bring it to my attention. This is a fantastic musical experience, and super convenient for my eclectic tastes and listening habits. Thanks for all this.
Didn't care for Spotify, not into Apple anything, and my Amazon music add-on to Prime just seems unnecessary. I have SirusXM for the car, but have a good deal. (Sirius owns Pandora?) It's ok, but the Radio choices are limited... the extra content on the website is much better, but no where near as good as what Pandora does. I'll probably cancel if my deal rate isn't continued another year. (I really only listen to Hair Nation and Chill.)
Is anyone home? Do you continue to develop Pandora at all? I understand membership is going down... this is unfortunate... will Sirius discontinue this?
I'd like to see the artists getting more money. If they got more respectable commissions, I'd pay more for this service. Double. Maybe more. I used to spend $100+ a month on CDs. I love having all eras of the world's music at my fingertips. I'd hate to loose this website to corporate nonsense or anything else.
But thanks again for this. Been a member since I think 2014 since I first read about the music genome project. Hope y'all are well. Happy 2026.
Peace, Bill
