Hello!
I'm new to the community forum, but I have been a Pandora supporter for a very long time. I started using Pandora in 2009! I love Pandora and listen everyday.
I listen to a wide range of music including reggae, alternative rock, Hindi, Punjabi, African, Latin, meditation and many other kinds of music. I wanted to give feedback about some of the Indian music stations. I feel like you need to hire more Asian Indian people to ensure that the stations are playing the appropriate music.
For example, I have a station called "Guru Randhawa." This artist typically plays upbeat Punjabi music, but the station will pull in slow Hindi songs. I feel like it used to be better about playing similar types of music, but now there is a lot of mixing. Also, sometimes I listen to Coldplay and then Linkin Park music will come on. I like both, but if i'm listening to Coldplay, that means I want more chill music, not necessarily Linkin Park. I listen to Linkin Park when I am in a different mood. My Coldplay station is overall great - that was one of my very first stations created and I love it.
I am mostly concerned about the Hindi/Punjabi stations and how they get mixed when the music is very different. Just wanted to provide that feedback...other than that, I love Pandora, clearly.
